PROJECT OVERVIEW
Performed and filmed within the wooded terrain of a north Georgia forest, Obstacle #273 examines the recursive nature of effort and failure in contemporary existence. Through a series of performed actions directed at a natural obstruction, the work foregrounds the tension between human intention and environmental resistance. Each attempt ends in failure, yet the impulse to continue persists. Even when the performer withdraws, the cycle remains conceptually unbroken.
