This all-archival film pairs a contemporary recorded voicemail from the artist’s personal archive with seemingly disparate and peculiar archival footage. The short piece converges images, memories, and reflections (both real and imagined) about a place, Marfa, Texas, that has in many ways stood still while conversely remaining in flux.
